Immigrant Justice Legal Services Grant Program

In January, Mayor Bowser announced that the DC Government would provide up to $500,000 to community-based organizations, law firms and partnerships serving the DC immigrant community. Several months later, the Mayor announced ten organizations that would receive the first round of Immigrant Justice Legal Services (IJLS) grant funding. Since receiving these funds in late April, the ten awardees have been making a big difference for District residents and their families. Recently, the Mayor made an additional $500,000 available to continue the IJLS program in fiscal year 2018.
