Tomorrow: Mayor Bowser to Kick-Off Outdoor Pool Season

(Washington, DC) – Tomorrow afternoon, Mayor Muriel Bowser will kick-off this summer’s outdoor pool season for the DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) at Banneker Pool. DPR has 18 outdoor pools, 24 spray parks and 4 children's pools, as well as 11 indoor pools. All outdoor aquatic facilities will open officially on Saturday, May 23.
