Snow Emergency Fare Set to Expire on January 27

The authorization for District taxicabs to charge the Snow Emergency Fare is set to expire on Wednesday, January 27 at 6:30 pm. District taxicabs shall not be allowed to add the flat fee of $15 to the metered fare after that time. This action aligns with the lifting of the Snow Emergency for the city.   Transport DC is service is available with the resumption of MetroAccess service as of 12 noon Tuesday, January 26. Customers may provide feedback regarding service or other issues by contacting karl.muhammad2@dc.gov or thedford.collins@dc.gov.     For-hire vehicle operators are advised to monitor the DCTC web site to be aware of updates or changes. Riders who encounter service problems are advised to contact DCTC at 855.484.4966 or DCTC3@dc.gov and provide a brief message describing the issue.
