Mayor Muriel Bowser to Host Regional Meeting with Maryland Governor Larry Hogan and Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe

(WASHINGTON, DC) – On Wednesday, October 12, District of Columbia Mayor Muriel Bowser will host the first regional meeting with Maryland Governor Larry Hogan and Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe. Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) General Manager Paul Wiedefeld will provide updates on Metro safety and finances. The Mayor and Governors will also discuss opioid and substance abuse prevention. Following that discussion, the Mayor and Governors will hold a media availability with pre-credentialed press.
