This week, Mayor Bowser will continue to call for the community’s support in creating a #SaferStrongerDC and applaud our education leaders for their work at DC Public Schools.

  • On Monday, Mayor Bowser will encourage residents to take advantage of the District’s Private Security Camera Incentive Program and showcase its role in helping solve neighborhood crimes.
  • On Wednesday, Mayor Bowser will attend a training event with new recruits at the Metropolitan Police Academy and call on residents to consider serving as officers and give back to their communities.
  • On Thursday, Mayor Bowser will join hundreds of school leaders at DCPS’ annual Summer Leadership Institute to identify priorities and set goals for the upcoming school year.
