Mayor Bowser Weekly Press Guidance

This week, Mayor Bowser will mark three years in office with a series of events to highlight the Administration’s successes and its forward-looking initiatives to continue the progress. 

• On Monday, Mayor Bowser will host the fourth annual Fit DC Fresh Start 5K, a tradition she began on New Year’s Day 2015. 


• On Tuesday, Mayor Bowser will visit the Department of Forensic Sciences to discuss the multiagency approach to achieving a safer, stronger DC. 


• On Wednesday, Mayor Bowser will visit Jefferson Middle School to stress the importance of social and emotional learning as part of the Every Day Counts! initiative. 


• On Thursday, Mayor Bowser will unveil her third Transition Plan Accountability Report to update the Transition Committee and residents on the Administration’s progress and discuss ways to fulfill the promises made. 


• On Friday, Mayor Bowser will be in studio for WAMU’s Politics Hour.
