Mayor Bowser to Make Personnel Announcement, Re-Open Improved “Green” O Street

(Washington, DC) – Today, August 14 at 10:30 am, Mayor Muriel Bowser will announce a new cabinet official and host a ribbon cutting ceremony to re-open a section of O Street, NW that has been closed to traffic since 1977. The section of road is a “green street” that will capture thousands of gallons of stormwater and help protect area streams and rivers.
