Mayor Bowser Joins New Beginnings Youth to Mow Lawns for DC Seniors
(Washington, DC) – On Saturday, July 1, at 11 am, Mayor Muriel Bowser will join participants from the Department of Youth Rehabilitation Services’ New Beginnings Grass is Greener Lawn Care Program to provide lawn maintenance services to District seniors. The Grass is Greener program provides New Beginnings youth, who are close to transitioning back into the community, with a chance to develop lawn maintenance skills and form community relationships.
