(Washington, DC) – In honor of Global Road Safety Week, Mayor Muriel Bowser will join US Department of Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx and Safe Kids Worldwide CEO Kate Carr on Tuesday, May 5. The event at Shepherd Elementary is one of hundreds of events taking place around the world as part of the #SaveKidsLives campaign, which is focused on raising awareness and advocating for changes that will improve road safety for kids.
