Mayor Bowser to Join Children’s National Health System for Press Conference
(Washington, DC) – On Tuesday, April 9, at 3 pm, Mayor Muriel Bowser will join Children’s National Health System President and CEO Kurt Newman M.D. to make an announcement related to the new Children’s National Research and Innovation Campus on the former Walter Reed Army Medical Center site in Ward 4.
Children’s National is redeveloping 12 acres on the Walter Reed site into a Research and Innovation Campus, a one-of-a-kind research and innovation hub to drive discoveries that save and improve the lives of children.
