Mayor Bowser to Help Kick Off National Cherry Blossom Festival

(Washington, DC) – On Thursday, March 1, at 10 am, Mayor Bowser will help kick off the National Cherry Blossom Festival where key announcements will be made including a peak bloom prediction. In 2018, the Festival will host 27 consecutive days of primarily free events, all providing the District with numerous opportunities to engage visitors and celebrate on a national scale.
