Mayor Bowser to Cut Ribbon on Modernized Hyde-Addison Elementary School
(Washington, DC) – On Wednesday, August 21, at 10:30 am, Mayor Bowser will be joined by District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS) Chancellor Lewis Ferebee and community members to cut the ribbon at the newly modernized Hyde-Addison Elementary School in Ward 2.
Mayor Bowser’s investments have modernized 26 DCPS schools, and she has committed more than $1.3 billion over the next six years for continued modernization of DCPS schools. In addition to Hyde-Addison, four other modernized schools will open this fall. Through these modernizations, Mayor Bowser has focused on providing students with world-class facilities to learn and thrive in.
