Mayor Bowser to Attend the District’s First Public Safety Job Fair
Your Neighborhood
(Washington, DC) – On Friday, September 20, at 11 am, Mayor Muriel Bowser and Deputy Mayor for Public Safety and Justice Lindsey Appiah will attend the District’s public safety job fair. For the first time, this event will bring together eight DC public safety agencies that are actively recruiting for a range of critical positions, including law enforcement, emergency response and public safety administration.
With many positions offering competitive salaries, recruitment incentives, benefits, and career growth potential, the public safety job fair reinforces Mayor Bowser’s commitment to creating pathways to the middle class for District residents. Attendees will gain firsthand knowledge about the various roles available, meet directly with agency hiring managers, receive practical tips on how to strengthen their applications, and engage in an on-site application process.
