Mayor Bowser to Announce Initiative Designed to Help DC Residents Improve their Financial Health

(WASHINGTON, DC) – On Monday, January 9 at 11 am, Mayor Muriel Bowser and District officials will visit H.D. Woodson High School – former home of a student-run credit union – to announce an initiative designed to help District residents improve their financial health. The initiative is a comprehensive program that guides DC residents through short-term goals such as creating workable budgets, starting a savings account, and for long-term goals such as saving for retirement and purchasing a home.
