Mayor Bowser to Announce Deputy Mayor for Greater Economic Opportunity

(Washington, DC) – Today, April 1st at 3:30 pm, Mayor Muriel Bowser will host a community meet-and-greet in Ward 8 where she will announce her appointee for the Deputy Mayor for Greater Economic Opportunity.
On the campaign trail, Mayor Bowser announced her plans to create a Deputy Mayor position that focused on creating greater economic opportunity for District residents and businesses. The Deputy Mayor for Greater Economic Opportunity will work to create pathways to the middle class for residents in every corner of the District.
