Mayor Bowser to Announce “DC is Open” Regardless of Potential Government Shutdown
(Washington, DC) – On Friday, January 19 at 11 am, Mayor Bowser will announce that the District is fully prepared for a potential government shutdown. The Mayor will also highlight DC’s plan to step in and make up for a lack of critical federal services such as trash cleanup.
