Mayor Bowser and Public Safety Officials to Dedicate the Emergency Operations Center in Honor of Kerry A. Payne

(WASHINGTON, DC) – On Sunday, September 11, Mayor Muriel Bowser will be joined by public safety officials to dedicate the Emergency Operations Center in honor of former Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency (HSEMA) Deputy Operations Chief, Kerry A. Payne. Mr. Payne, who died in April 2015, devoted 27 years to making the District safer, stronger, and more prepared.
