Mayor Bowser and DC Police Chief Newsham to Request Public’s Help in Solving Tragic Weekend Shooting
On Wednesday, January 17, at 11 am, Mayor Muriel Bowser and Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) Chief Peter Newsham will host a press conference in front of Garden Memorial Presbyterian Church to request the public’s help on the investigation into the shooting of 14-year-old Steven Slaughter on Minnesota Avenue in Southeast.
